Our Classes

We offer Ashtanga and Iyengar-style yoga classes in Montreal designed for beginners, athletes, or anybody looking to build strength, flexibility, and consistency in their practice.

Guided Ashtanga

Our led, abridged Ashtanga classes guide the practitioners through the sequence together, following breath and count. This format helps you build rhythm, discipline, and familiarity with the Ashtanga method.

Whether you are a beginner or an athlete, the class will meet you where you are in order to offer the right amount of challenge for you.

Expect a steady, flowing practice that challenges both body and mind while reinforcing proper alignment and breath awareness. Ideal for those who enjoy a more dynamic, collective energy with clear guidance throughout.

Iyengar-style Classes

A detail-oriented practice that complements dynamic styles (like Ashtanga) by emphasizing alignment, precision, and control. This class uses props such as blocks, straps, and bolsters (or in our case, muay thai kicking pads!) to support the body and help the practitioner access each posture safely and effectively.

Postures are held for longer periods, allowing time to build strength, improve flexibility, and develop a deeper body awareness. This class is ideal for beginners, those recovering from injury, or anyone looking to refine their technique and understanding of foundational poses.

Unofficial Classes

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we give an unofficial class at 1p.m. following the noon muay thai class.

These classes are shorter in length (thirty to forty minutes) and are available to anyone possessing the Thailong membership.
